The basics

What do I actually get?

A clean, fast, mobile-friendly website, built for you and then looked after for a flat monthly fee. Every plan includes hosting, https, backups, your .com.au domain registered in your name, a "Book now" button linking to your booking system, a contact form to your inbox, and a set number of small changes each month. See pricing for what each plan adds.

How much is it? What about GST and invoices?

A$79, A$159 or A$249 a month, with no setup fee. We're not registered for GST, so there's no GST on top: the price you see is what you pay. You'll get an emailed receipt every month. If we register for GST later, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice.

Is there a lock-in contract? How do I cancel?

There's a 3-month minimum to start (it covers building your site), then you can cancel anytime; your plan ends at the end of the period you've paid for. No exit fee. The 3-month minimum is shown on the payment page, and you tick a box to agree to our terms before you pay.

Who owns the domain, site and content if I leave?

Your domain is registered in your business's name from day one, and your words, photos and logo are always yours. If you leave, we send you a copy of your website files (HTML, CSS and images) and help move your domain, free.

How long until my site is live?

About 7 business days after we receive your complete content (questionnaire answers and photos). You'll see a private preview first, and nothing goes live until you approve it in writing.

Do you design logos?

On Business Plus, yes: bespoke design includes logo creation (10 starting options, then 2 rounds of changes on the one you choose) and up to 2 other custom artwork requests a month, each with 2 rounds of changes, in about 5 business days per request. Unused artwork requests don't roll over to the next month. Your logo is yours once paid, and custom artwork stays yours if you leave. Logo design isn't included on Essentials or Business. See terms clause 26.

What do I need to provide?

About 15 minutes for our questionnaire (services, hours, fees, address, booking link, a few lines about you and your team) and some photos. Phone photos are fine, and real photos beat stock photos. Send your logo if you have one.

I already have a website or domain. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We keep your existing domain and point it at the new site, reuse anything useful from your old site, and switch over cleanly. If your current site works well for you, we'll tell you honestly that you may not need us.

Changes and support

How do changes work, and how fast are they?

Email hello@streetfront.com.au with what you'd like changed: hours, a new team bio, a photo, updated fees. Plans include 1, 3 or 6 small changes a month (about 15 minutes each), done within 3 business days (Essentials), 2 (Business) or the next business day (Business Plus). We'll confirm when it's live. Bigger jobs are quoted by email first, as a flat price.

An example:

Why is everything done by email?

On purpose: every price, change and approval stays in writing, you can reply between jobs instead of playing phone tag, and it keeps our costs (and your price) down. We reply to messages within 1 business day.

What if the site goes down?

It's unlikely. Your site is a simple "static" site on a large global hosting network, with no database or plugins to break. If you notice a problem, email hello@streetfront.com.au with URGENT in the subject and we'll treat it as a priority. No-one can honestly promise 100% uptime, but we'll keep you updated by email.

What happens if you stop trading?

Your domain is in your name, so you never lose your web address. Your site is a set of files any web developer can host in minutes, and we keep a written handover note for every client. If we ever stop trading, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and send you your files and handover note.

Google, reviews and advertising rules

Will you get me to the top of Google?

Nobody can honestly promise rankings, and we don't sell SEO campaigns. We build your site so Google can read it properly (fast, mobile-friendly, clear titles, your suburb and services) and link it to your Google Business Profile. Where you appear also depends on reviews, distance and competition.

Can you help with Google reviews?

Yes, on every plan. On Essentials, add Google & AI visibility (A$79/month) and we reply to your new Google reviews, up to 20 a month, posted after you approve them. On Business, we draft short, polite replies to up to 5 new reviews a month and email them to you to post, or add Google & AI visibility (A$85/month) and we post them for you after your OK. Business Plus includes it. Replies stay general and privacy-safe, and never share a customer's personal details. We can't remove reviews, and we won't write fake ones.

Will I know when someone enquires?

Yes. On every plan we email you the moment someone fills in your website form, free. Website forms only. More about enquiry alerts.

Can you help me get more Google reviews?

Review requests are no longer offered. We never offer rewards or only ask happy customers, because that breaks Google's rules. Replies to reviews you already have are part of Google & AI visibility.

Can my site be in other languages?

Yes, with Multilingual Pages: A$19/month per language on Essentials and Business. Business Plus includes 3 languages, then A$15/month for each extra. Choose from 21 languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Indonesian, Hindi, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Thai, Filipino (Tagalog), Polish, Dutch and Malay. Pick one or more. Pay by card or PayPal.

What is the Google & AI visibility add-on?

An optional extra: A$79/month on Essentials, A$85/month on Business, included in Business Plus. We reply to your Google reviews, keep your Google profile up to date, and check every month whether Google and AI assistants (like ChatGPT) mention you, with a one-page report. We reply to each new Google review, up to 20 a month (A$2 per extra approved reply), and keep your Google Business Profile up to date: hours, public holiday hours, services, booking link, attributes, up to 4 photos a month and one Google post a month. Every reply, change, post and photo is emailed to you first and goes up only after you approve it. You add us as a Manager on your Google Business Profile, so you stay the owner and can remove us at any time. On Business it replaces the 5 included drafts and quarterly check-ups, so you don't pay twice. No minimum term; cancel anytime, no notice period. AI answers change from day to day; each report is a snapshot of the questions we ran, not a ranking or a prediction of future results. We don't scan the dark web, monitor Facebook/Instagram, or take sites down for you. More about Google & AI visibility.

What is the Scam watch add-on?

An optional extra: A$19/month on Essentials, A$22/month on Business, included in Business Plus. Every month we look for fake websites, lookalike web addresses and listings using your name. We help you check your SMS sender name, and give you ready-to-send Scamwatch and ASIC report templates. We don't scan the dark web, monitor Facebook/Instagram, or take sites down for you. More about Scam watch.

What does Business Plus include?

Everything in Business, plus up to 10 pages, 6 changes a month done the next business day, and Google & AI visibility and Scam watch included. That means: up to 20 Google review replies a month, posted after your OK; monthly Google profile upkeep (hours, holiday hours, services, booking link and attributes); 1 Google post a month; up to 4 new photos a month; and one monthly Google & AI visibility report. Business email is set up for you. A$249/month, A$0 setup.

What do I actually get with Scam watch?

Every month we look for fake websites, lookalike web addresses and listings using your name. We send you a monthly Scam watch report covering what we checked and anything we found. We help you check your SMS sender name, and give you ready-to-send Scamwatch and ASIC report templates, so you can report a fake quickly. We don't scan the dark web, monitor Facebook/Instagram, or take sites down for you. A$19/month on Essentials, A$22/month on Business, included in Business Plus. Cancel anytime, no notice period.

Why is Business Plus cheaper than Business with both add-ons?

Business (A$159) plus Google & AI visibility (A$85) and Scam watch (A$22) comes to A$266 a month. Business Plus is A$249 a month and includes both, so it's A$17 a month less. If you want both add-ons, Business Plus is the clear upgrade.

Can I add a page for a new service?

Yes. New pages within your plan's page limit are free, even after launch. Beyond that limit, an extra page is A$149 one-off, paid once per page and not added to your monthly fee (up to 2 extra pages per site, on top of your plan's included pages: 3 Essentials, 6 Business, 10 Business Plus): a short email brief, a draft link within 5 business days, 2 rounds of changes and a check of the wording against your industry's advertising rules. It goes live after your written OK, is hosted with the rest of your site at no extra monthly cost, and is included in your files if you leave. On any plan, an extra revision round is A$49 AUD: one combined list of changes, sent in one email. Details.

How do you handle advertising rules for my industry?

We check wording against the advertising rules for your industry before anything goes live, keep claims plain and factual, and you approve all wording in writing. If your industry restricts testimonials or claims about results, we leave them off your site. Our checks help, but we're not lawyers, and you remain responsible for your advertising.

Why not just Facebook, a DIY builder or my nephew?

Facebook is worth keeping, but plenty of people don't use it, you don't control the page, and it isn't what shows up when someone Googles your business. DIY builders work if you have time to build and maintain them. With us, the build, hosting, updates and fixes are included, there's an ABN and written terms, and your domain stays in your name either way.

Payments, privacy and trust

What happens if I add, cancel or change something mid-month?

Adding an add-on or moving to a higher plan starts straight away. Your next payment includes a part-month charge for the days left in that month. When you upgrade, we credit the unused part of your old plan (and of any add-ons your new plan includes), so you only pay the difference. Cancelling an add-on: it keeps running until the end of the month you've paid for, then stops. There's no refund for that month, and it isn't charged again. Moving to a lower plan starts from your next billing date.

How do I pay? Can I get a refund?

You sign up and pay right here on our website, through Stripe's secure checkout. You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Prefer PayPal? You can use PayPal on every plan and add-on. We never see or store your card details. You're charged monthly, and Stripe emails you a receipt each time. If you're not happy with the design before launch, tell us and we'll refund your first payment in full, including any extra pages. After launch, months already started aren't refunded, but you can cancel after the minimum term with 30 days' notice. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.

Is it safe to pay on your website?

Yes. When you press "Start my plan", you go to a secure Stripe payment page with our name and logo. Stripe handles your card details; they never pass through or get stored on our site.

Is it secure? What about privacy?

Every site uses https and has no login page or plugins to attack. Contact forms send enquiries to your email and aren't meant for health or other sensitive details (we add a note saying so). We don't sell or share your data. We ask for "manager"-style access where needed, never your passwords. See our privacy policy.

Can I have email addresses on my domain?

Yes, for example with Google Workspace or Zoho Mail. You pay the provider directly so the accounts are always yours. Business includes setup instructions; Business Plus includes setup done for you.

Are you a real business?

Yes. Streetfront is a Melbourne sole trader business, ABN 71 463 939 713. You can check our ABN on the government's ABN Lookup. Our terms are in writing before you pay anything.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Independent local businesses across Australia: tradies, accountants, cleaners, health businesses and other local service businesses. The same plans suit all of them. Because everything happens by email, location doesn't matter.
